OVERVIEW
Designing the bridge between two products that weren't built to talk to each other yet.
As a Designer Intern at IBM, I led design for the integration between Watson Orchestrate and Confluent, working alongside a team of 12 including designers, technical PMs, developers, and PMs to design how these two products connect on a builder sided and admin sided level.
OUTCOME
Shipping quality UX on a compressed sprint timeline.
This was a very rewarding experience on how cross team collaboration happens on an enterprise level. Slacking with developers when they had questions and meeting with product managers for clarifying features and ideation.
Learning and utilizing new tools!
Understanding tight deadlines, we utilized AI tools to help research, iterate, and ideate screens to help our process. Copilot to consolidate and explain research findings, and summarizing meetings into to dos. Figma make and Claude Code for concept ideation to present working prototypes to the team and stakeholders.
